Automation QA Engineer - Backend

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure high test coverage and robust system performance.
• Create efficient, scalable, and reusable test cases focused on functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and identify and report defects with clarity and detail.
• Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and best practices for backend automation.
• Contribute to the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and continuous testing workflows.
• Work within a fast-paced team delivering high-quality, AI-powered features to global users.

Job Requirements:

• Solid experience with backend testing and automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, JUnit, Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages used in backend testing.
• Extensive hands-on experience validating backend applications, including RESTful APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Basic understanding of monitoring tools and backend performance testing is a plus.
