👋 The Role

As a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer, you will work within the Platform team while also supporting the Backend team in the cloud environment. This role blends infrastructure development with hands-on engineering, helping to unblock teams and drive cloud initiatives forward.

It’s an ideal opportunity for engineers who excel at building clean, efficient cloud systems while designing and managing the infrastructure that powers them. You will contribute to feature development and core platform improvements, ensuring that our cloud-native environment is scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performing.

This role combines elements of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and DevSecOps, offering a broad and impactful scope across the organization.

Tasks

🚀 Your Mission

As a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer, you will:

• Take Ownership of Infrastructure: Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure using AWS services, ensuring it supports seamless development and reliable operations.
• Optimize Developer Workflows: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, improve development tooling, and implement GitOps practices to enhance developer velocity.
• Bridge Backend and Platform: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure backend systems integrate seamlessly with the underlying platform and infrastructure.
• Implement Secured Infrastructure : you will integrate security practices into the DevOps workflow, ensuring that infrastructure and applications are built securely from the start. You will automate security processes, identify vulnerabilities early, and drive a culture of security across development teams.
• Champion Automation and Best Practices: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform, or CDK to automate infrastructure and ensure maintainability.

Requirements

🛠️ Your Toolbox

• Infrastructure & Cloud: AWS (Serverless, Fargate, Lambda, ECS, Networking, ControlTwoer, Organization, ApiGateway), LocalStack, Docker, CloudFlare
• IaC Frameworks: Terraform, CDK
• Containers & CI/CD: Docker, GitOps, GitLab CI
• Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, AWS CloudWatch
• Security: SaST, IAC security, AWS SecurityHub, DataDog SIEM, ELK
• Languages: Python, TypeScript (is a Huge plus)

• Be a Backend & Platform Expert: 5+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps/Platform, with a proven ability to balance coding and infrastructure responsibilities.

• Master Cloud Infrastructure: You’re skilled at designing and managing cloud-native architectures using AWS services, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Optimize Workflows: You have experience building CI/CD pipelines, implementing GitOps, and streamlining development workflows.
• Secure Infrastructure: You have experience in designing, implementing and operating technical security
