WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Scheduled hours: 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday
Looking for Independent worker and self-starter. Able to multitask and shift responsibilities
Compliance Ensures compliance with all state and federal billing regulations; reports any suspected compliance issues to management.
Clients Executes client specific process flows and adheres to timelines for various follow-up processes.
Issue Resolution Maintains a client issues list for review and resolution with the appropriate Hospital departments.
Occupational Health Services Participate in various specific occupational health programs such as - a) Coworker Health Services: Perform the duties which supports the specialty practice of coworker health. This position assists with the case management under FA worker's compensation program, new hire and transfer physicals, EAP, random drug testing program, and the annual employee health surveillance. This position helps coordinate coworker health fit testing onsite. Also maintains and tracks coworker illness logs and monitors quality for TB Control program and fit testing compliance. b) Responsible for maintaining the client base for Franciscan Working Well. This position is responsible for developing positive client relationships, marketing the programs service. In addition, the position effectively manages and resolves client concerns and identifies roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business. c) Drug/Alcohol Compliance and OHC Random Drug Consortium management including signing up clients, registering participants and scheduled drawing of those for random drug testing. d) Perform activities relevant to establishing an efficient revenue cycle in addition to monitoring our aging reports in conjunction with our billing service. e) Submit CMV Driver examination reports on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners’ website by fulfilling the duties of an medical examiner’s administrative assistant. f) Other duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director and/or Clinic Manager.
Relationships Maintains follow-up procedures and working relationships with area responsible for the information including the Medical Records Department, Patient Access, or physicians.
Inventory Manages assigned vendor inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
Auditing Performs at least 10 account audits monthly for each specific line of vendor business.
Contracts Performs periodic audits of contractual adjustments from vendor staff.
Work Denials and Adjustments Processes and follows up on work denials and adjustments submitted by the vendor.
Reporting Reviews daily Recon reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Associate's Degree
Required High School Diploma/GED
1 year Patient Accounting Preferred
Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) - .
