Robert Bosch LLC seeks Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Work on ADAS functions for series projects. Examples include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and partially automated driving (e.g., Highway-Assist). Identify possible software (SW) issues by creating test scripts that exercise developed ADAS functions intended to accomplish Customer Requirements. Report results and address issues to the corresponding areas to improve the tested SW. By tracking these reported issues, through management requirements tools, to their respective requirements, stakeholders can graph and understand the progress of the project, globally, regarding specific features by counting how many of the requirements are being met and how many need to be developed, improved, or corrected. Act as interface between Requirements Owners and Software Function Owners. Test SW and System requirements on HIL platform. Work closely with Requirements Owners to develop quality testcases. Proactively work with Software Function Owners during the entire testing process. Work with Project Managers and Test Coordinator to establish testing milestones and deadlines. Analyze test failures to identify incorrect testcases vs. software defects. Communicate testing status and impediments with Project Managers. Create test reports and communicate results to the team. Generate defect reports for software defects and assign to responsible software function owner. Maintain Testing Hardware and associated testing equipment for HIL testing, etc. Ensure traceability of test cases and test results to customer requirements. Communicate with other test teams globally to share knowledge and lesson learned. Proactively push to improve and streamline all areas of the testing process. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience as a ADAS Automotive Engineer, Software Engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Python language development; (2) ADAS Systems testing; (3) Automotive System Test Experience (System Bench); (4) Requirements management tools (IBM Rational DOORS); (5) Linux; (6) Test planning, test scope and risk definition; and (7) Test automation in Automotive domain (Vector stack).
