Required Technologies/Tools
- Experience with Linux platform support such as RHEL, or CentOS
- Linux platform administrative support, including management and troubleshooting
- Experience with Microsoft platform support and administrative support, including management and troubleshooting
- Applying upgrades and patches to operating system and applications software and maintain records of all software version levels
- Vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation technologies
- HPE firmware patching for stand-alone chassis and Synergy blade chassis
- Maintaining server and equipment rooms and perform server checklist
Desired Technologies/Tools
- Experience with automation via scripting such as Bash or PowerShell
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization
- Cisco Catalyst products
- Experience with SOLR
- Experience with Hadoop
- Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL
- Dell/EMC Unity storage
