Regional Director, Women's Health Sales

Natera’s Women’s Health division is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Sales to lead our team in delivering innovative genetic testing solutions, including noninvasive prenatal testing, carrier screening, and miscarriage testing.
In this role, you will oversee a team of District Managers, Clinical Field Specialists, and Account Sales Representatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in achieving regional sales goals, driving market expansion, and shaping the future of women’s health through cutting-edge diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales goals, ensuring the successful implementation of regional strategies and tactics.
- Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor top-performing sales professionals while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
- Key Opinion Leader Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with OBGYNs, hospitals, and other key stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of Natera’s products.
- Field Support: Spend significant time in the field coaching and providing constructive feedback to your team to maximize performance and professional growth.
- Market Insights: Analyze market trends, gather field input, and implement "best practices" to ensure consistent execution and competitive positioning.
- Operational Excellence: Manage budgets, optimize territory alignments, and coordinate corporate support to achieve maximum ROI and regional success.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Background in medical or biological sciences is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of successful sales experience with physicians in the diagnostics or genetic laboratory industry.
- 5+ years of proven sales management experience, preferably in clinical diagnostics or related fields.
- Leadership: Award-winning management track record with demonstrated success in leading teams to exceed revenue goals, launch new products, and capture market share.
Key Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with a commitment to team development and success.
- Market knowledge in reproductive health and familiarity with diagnostic testing preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex internal and external environments.
- Effective time management and self-motivation, with a sense of urgency to drive results.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com.
The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
