We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Production Planning Manager to lead
forecasting, production scheduling, and cross-functional coordination across the supply chain.
This individual will be the key point of contact for manufacturing partners (including Atel and
Outshine) and will play a vital role in ensuring we meet production timelines, maintain optimal
inventory levels, and execute on marketing display projects.
This is a highly collaborative role working closely with our Sales, Finance, Logistics, and
Marketing teams. In addition to standard forecasting and inventory planning, this person will
also lead special production initiatives—including the design and fulfillment of retail and
marketing display units for in-store and promotional use.
This is an individual contributor role with potential to lead overseas team members in the future.
Occasional travel will be required for vendor visits and planning meetings.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as the primary production liaison with Atel and Outshine, maintaining consistent
communications to ensure timely execution and delivery of production plans.
-Lead cross-functional forecasting and demand planning aligned with historical trends,
growth targets, and sales input.
-Create and maintain production schedules that align with demand forecasts, sales
priorities, and inventory objectives.
-Plan and execute special manufacturing projects—such as the design, production,
and delivery of display units for marketing and retail partnerships.
-Collaborate with the Marketing team on new campaign or product launches requiring
custom packaging or promotional units.
-Analyze and report on KPIs related to forecast accuracy, production performance, and
vendor efficiency.
-Partner with Finance to align production strategy with budgets and cost controls.
-Provide input on system optimization and process automation through NetSuite or
equivalent ERP tools (experience with SAP or Oracle also considered).
-Identify and implement improvements across demand planning and production
workflows.
-Support strategic growth projects, including the onboarding and management of
potential offshore production planning support.
Qualifications
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
-8+ years of experience in production planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain
management.
-Proven track record of managing end-to-end production cycles across international
vendors.
-Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred; SAP or Oracle experience will also be
considered.
-Strong communication and project management skills, with ability to partner across
departments.
-Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and
finance.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
