About the role
The Department of Neurology in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a JHIBS Intern to participate in a summer research mentoring program hosted by the Johns Hopkins Internship in Brain Sciences (JHIBS) Program. The JHIBS Intern will conduct a short-term mentored research project in a laboratory or clinical research setting. Interns will give a poster and oral presentation on their research experiences at the mid-point or end of the program.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person research under the guidance of a mentor.
- Attend and participate in regular lab meetings, seminars and journal clubs.
- May also present findings from their research at scientific conferences and workshops held virtually or in-person.
Minimum Qualifications
- Actively pursuing High School Diploma or graduation equivalent
- Acceptance into the JHIBS summer program.
