 Join our team as an Assistant Property Manager at Crowhaven Apartments in Nixa, MO! This 30-hour/week role requires weekend availability, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. Earn $20/hour and enjoy full benefits, as Arc of the Ozarks provides comprehensive benefits for 30-hour (full-time) positions. 

This position is heavily involved in supporting individuals with disabilities, including providing direct support, community transportation, and emotional stability. While offering back-end support to the Property Manager, the primary focus is supporting the clients on the premises. You’ll also plan engaging weekend activities like Silver Dollar City trips, game/bingo/karaoke, and movie nights, while assisting the Property Manager with back-end tasks. Weekend availability is required. 

What is this job all about? 

The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Apartment Manager to join our team at Crowhaven Apartments, a Section 8 HUD apartment complex, located in Nixa, MO. This apartment complex dedicated to fostering independence and community inclusion for individuals with disabilities. 

In this dynamic role, you’ll assist in the on-site management and supervision of the apartments, supporting the Apartment Manager in day-to-day operations. Your focus will be on enhancing residents’ self-help skills, economic self-sufficiency, socialization, transportation, and overall well-being to maximize their independence and quality of life.

What will my day-to-day responsibilities look like? 

An Assistant Apartment Manager is both a mentor and a coach. In this position you will be working hands on with our clients to provide guidance and suggestions to empower their learning. You will do this by: 

• On-Site Management & Inspections: Assist in managing Crowhaven Apartments, conducting frequent checks, completing apartment inspections, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. 

• Community Inclusion & Tenant Support: Plan and oversee community activities, support tenants’ individualized
