CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order parts using SAP system.
Maintain proper storeroom inventory levels (regular cycle counts).
Load and unload trucks as needed.
Create and maintain vendor relationships.
Receive/ un-receive purchase orders.
Track corporate project parts.
Conduct numerous MRO transactions via SAP.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Perform SAP functions as part of daily routine to ensure accurate inventory management.
Ensure that the parts room is well-organized for improved equipment readiness.
Consolidate completed order so all parts can be installed promptly and efficiently.
prepare returnable items.
Perform inventory cycle counts daily.
Ensure all completed/delivered purchase orders are received via SAP.
Monthly
Perform a monthly inventory of one-fourth of the parts room.
Review all part numbers.
Review low-usage stock parts and prepare a report for review.
Quarterly
Assists in conducting quarterly inventory
Price match all frequently ordered items

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
1+ years of experience in SAP with MRO transactions background strongly preferred.
PIT (forklift, pallet jack, etc) experience preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude
Must be physically able to perform the essential elements of the job as determined by the company including lifting up to 50 pounds an climbing ladders and stairs.

The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance, vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
