Job Description:

The Technology Data Lead  (KYC Engineering) is responsible for the design,  development and support of the KYC Platform coordinating with multiple development teams across the Organization with respect to Data load and data quality. This entails aligning with other delivery Teams & Vendors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Challenge the norm and provide the thought leadership in KYC required control solutions which meet regulatory expectation and deliver the best-in-class customer and colleague experience. 

  • Work with senior business and Tech leaders to ensure our product capabilities and solutions are functionally aligned with requirements and that a fit for purpose solution is designed, with the support from AVP, KYC Engineering.

  • Collaborate with Governance, Information Security, & engineering teams to guide the design and Implementation of frameworks, standards, and processes to meet Banks Audit & Compliance requirements.

  • Supports any regulator exam, audit, or other relevant control execution and review of the KYC data across Teams.

Depth & Scope:

  • Extensive, specialized knowledge of data engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, patterns, and procedures, including how they impact and integrate with other technology areas such as Architecture or Infrastructure

  • Extensive understanding of the business supported and the overall Bank with deep expertise and specialized knowledge of technology concepts, technical environment, direction, and related technology and tools

  • Provides technical guidance, direction, or expertise to others as a top technical lead on significant and complex design and development issues that may impact transformational technology or cross business strategic initiatives

  • Works autonomously on highly complex issues which are diverse in scope and multi-faceted and often provides leadership and direction to the team

  • Foresees issues, gaps, and opportunities; identifies emerging industry trends

Education & Experience:

  • Degree, Postgraduate Degree, or Technical Certificate in Data Management or related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience

  • Graduate degree preferred

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of experience in data management and analytics skills

  • Proven experience of working with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, data engineers and business analysts.

  • Proven experience designing, managing building data streaming pipelines, building control reports and repository for reporting

  • knowledge of our core business, products, and operations teams

  • Support the KYC development with advanced analytics and data science.

  • Good understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management, security and audit compliance.

Customer Accountabilities:

  • Supports and performs data analysis and assesses data management requirements for a specific Platform or Journey, including complex analysis involving multiple pods or products

  • Maintains expert knowledge of upstream data, including knowledge provided through data profiling, data quality reporting, and via the production of metadata

  • Supports the acquisition and ingestion of data

  • Collaborates with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, and understand complex, large scale data requirements spanning multiple pods, Products, or Journeys

  • Articulates complex, large scale, and high impact technical design and development details to non-techni
