As a Senior Frontend Developer, your responsibilities include translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the applications look as well as how it works. You create the designs based on existing guidelines and collaborate with other software developers to ensure end-to-end- delivery and handling requests from our partners.

All Ireckonu development takes place in an agile environment working with three core development approaches: Agile, Scrum and SOLID. The development department is built on the concept of teamwork without bureaucracy, and we pride ourselves on being hands-on across the board.

About You

• You have 5+ years of experience with web frontend development with modern JavaScript tooling (ES6, Webpack, Angular)
• You have knowledge of JavaScript, Angular and integration with REST APIs
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
• Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance
• You have experience developing, deploying, and maintaining SaaS products
• You have experience working with CI/CD systems
• 1+ years’ experience working with code bases building micro-frontends
• Write high-performance, reusable code
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• You actively participate in code reviews, design reviews and constructively share your comments on pull requests
• You have an eye for quality
• You have experience mentoring and coaching Medior and Junior Developers
• You have experience working in a multicultural environment

Requirements

You Will

• Support, extend, and enhance Ireckonu’s customer portal, web apps, and contactless products
• Build responsive front-ends for all screens (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• You work on web & mobile applications using Angular, Ionic, and React Native
• Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and HTML/SASS
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Continuously look for ways to improve Ireckonu by implementing A/B tests
• Develop new user-facing features
• Write high-performance, reusable code
• Mentor Junior Engineers through formal and informal discussions, code reviews, design reviews, technical presentations, or as a consultant on projects.
