About the role
The Machine Operation & Maintenace Technician is responsible for the monitoring, maintaining, adjusting, and daily operation of warehouse equipment. They are also responsible for cleaning and quality-checking their machinery and performing diverse duties to operate, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
What you'll do
. Be present on assigned manufacturing line startup every day at 6:45 am.
· Perform manual operations such as line feeder, filling, labeling, packing, capping, palletizing, sealing.
· Learn to operate each line and machine and perform necessary adjustments to machinery and mechanical equipment, such as belts, bolts, tension rods and rollers to troubleshoot, control, and adjust machine settings and minimize downtime.
· Learn to perform quality inspections during production and complete the required maintenance records and documentation accurately.
· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during routine production hours and routine preventative maintenance (PM) functions as specified by PM schedule(s).
· Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and works orders to perform required service.
· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machines as needed.
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
· Observe all company safety regulations and procedures, including wearing all required personal protective equipment and maintaining clean and orderly work areas

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of AC and DC motors and controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
