Tenure faculty (regardless of rank) - persons with the titles of professor, associate professor, assistant professor and instructor who serve on appointments totaling 50% or more service to the university and who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty member’s tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus; obligations will include research, service and/or teaching or clinical practice.  These faculty will have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study or possession of equivalent experience.

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek PhD Faculty to join the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assistant Professor, Associate Professor of Professor to serve as a member of the Division of Medical Oncology within the Department of Internal Medicine; embarks on a program of research in the specialty of immunology and microbiome; obtains external research funding; participates in the academic commitments of the division and department. Minimum Education Required Doctorate (Professional) or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in biological sciences.

Requirements
Doctoral degree in Pharmacology and Therapeutics or related area required; extensive research experience (5 years minimum) required; prior track record of publications required; experience in signaling and methylation of experimental therapeutics desired. Requires successful completion of a background check.  Selected candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
