Job Summary
Support and co-lead the State Supported Service Line (SSSL) Long tern + annual planning, corridor specific long term + annual planning, matrix leadership to support key initiatives, and matrix leadership for new corridor developments. Contribute to the creation of an aligned and holistic state supported service line vision that unites key functions and state partners. Assist in translating the long-term vision into the annual plan, ensuring stakeholders are fully aligned and have the appropriate support to deliver. Work with state partners, service design team and corridor leadership to assist in the development of an aligned vision for each state partnership. Serve as a key contributor in initiative planning that benefits state services and requires multiple stakeholders to deliver. Contribute to the cross divisional new corridor vision creation and have a role in developing new corridor cross divisional service design.
Essential Functions
- Support and maintain updates to the annual planning process, ensuring vision is incorporated into annual planning cycle and supports division planning.
- Uphold the translation plan initiatives and execute on the plan with appropriate guidance.
- Participate in the development of vision-setting and contribute to creating plans that support new service commercial delivery.
- Maintain appropriate tracking to ensure the 5-year vision and objectives are met, addressed and issues properly handled.
- Work with stakeholders on strategic initiatives to ensure plan objectives are addressed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
- Plus 3 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
- Plus 5 years of relevant work experience.

- Proficient in PC-based software applications including Microsoft Office Suite with strong knowledge in Excel
The salary/hourly range is $78,600.00 – $101,844.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee’s assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee’s base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
