Frontline Leader - Powder Coating– Colorado Springs, Colorado  

Frontline Leader

Works with and directs team members in the operation of assigned finishing area.  This position is approximately 20% administrative with daily responsibilities that include production reports, maintenance, and production logs, attendance logs, etc.

What You Will Do:  

• Maintains organized and accurate records for the department.
• Assigns tasks to other workers based on workflow and staffing availability.
• Assists the facilitator in various departmental duties including special projects and process improvements.
• Maintains a daily record of production, scrap and rework.
• Assists workers in performance of duties and trouble shooting equipment and processes to solve work problems.
• Ensures associates comply with standards and safety rules.
• Assists in identification and development of process improvements.
• Performs production work of any station as needed.
• Conducts quality audits.
• Responsible for ordering supplies and monitoring production material levels.

What You Need to Succeed:  

• Knowledge of  finishing processes is required.
• Must be able to perform the functions of the positions in the department to which assigned.
• Available to perform overtime if needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including both verbal and written English.
• Must have good listening skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.
• Must possess basic math and reading skills.
• Prior experience and understanding of PC’s is required.
• Must be able to work wearing appropriate protective equipment, including a respirator.
• Demonstrates knowledge of processes, parts and finishes including ability to identify base metals, (brass, bronze, stainless steel).
• Demonstrates knowledge of MSDS in working in close proximity to hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Must be able to be cross trained in all finishing departments.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
