Job Description

The Lead Engineer performs a variety of advanced journey level, lead and/or specialized trade tasks which could include upholstery, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and maintenance; may act as a lead worker for assigned shift and ensure assignments are distributed and completed; performs duties with minimum or no supervision; provides advanced support duties to higher level management staff; and performs related tasks within area of assignment.

• Delivers superior internal and external guest service in Boyd Style by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look sharp, smile and greet the guest; Be friendly, polite and use courteous language; Provide especially timely and knowledgeable service and then some; Always find solutions to guests’ problems; Use the guest’s name when appropriate; Thank the guest and invite him or her back.); and work harmoniously with fellow team members.
• Maintain shop areas, spare parts areas, storage areas and inventories of materials, equipment and associated parts of the trade of assignment.
• Repairs, maintains and supports all equipment, structures, furnishings and fixtures throughout the facility which includes re-lamping, general mechanical repairs; transportation & set up of furniture, supplies, signage, stanchions, fixtures, marketing materials and other items as needed.
• Attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and innovations in the fields of electrical, lighting, grounds, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent plus five (5) years’ experience in the required related maintenance field, plus one (1) year lead or supervisory experience.
