Job Description:
Responsible for producing and interpreting reports and analytics in support of core Treasury activities, including interest rate, capital and liquidity risk management, funds transfer pricing, funding and capital markets activities, cash management, and various reporting functions.
Manage macroeconomic scenario administration and analysis, including economic forecasts used in planning, CECL reserving and CCAR processes and provide financial analysis support to the Treasury Capital Planning team.
Identifies and implements technological solutions to automate these duties. Seeks continuous improvement through deeper analytical insights. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage baseline and alternative macroeconomic forecast loads for planning, CECL reserving and CCAR stress testing processes, ensuring data accuracy, reasonableness, and consistency.
- Review macroeconomic forecasts from different vendors for baseline and alternative scenarios, analyze trends and variances and prepare economic forecast reports and analysis for various committees.
- Support and execute model risk activities for the models used for macroeconomic forecasting, including documentation updates and performance monitoring.
- Conduct a wide range of analysis and ad hoc financial reviews to support macroeconomic forecasting and capital planning processes, including review of CCAR forecasts results.
- Support the development of key Capital Planning communications, aggregate data across the business and package the information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand presentations to help senior management and the Board stay informed and approve key Capital Planning decisions.
- Contribute to high-level reporting functions and development of key strategic communications to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and provide timely updates that allow leaders to manage risks effectively.
- Conduct a wide range of analyses that support all core Treasury activities.
- Take primary responsibility for the accuracy, reasonableness, and consistency of data and assumptions used to model balance sheet activities while implementing appropriate controls.
- Manage regulatory requirements and stay current with best practices to manage changes in such. Manage and articulate strategic objectives.
- Learn and develop technology and data analysis skills and serve as a key resource to other Treasury analysts by teaching and promoting best practices in the same. Support Corporate Treasury's technology initiatives to automate routine tasks and streamline work flows.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and or Banking/Financial Services or related
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and or Banking/Financial Services or related
Preferred Qualifications:
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in relevant work, especially using programming languages (Python or similar, SQL), statistical software (Stata, R, or similar), ALM software (QRM or similar) and web development languages (HTML, CSS, etc.); experience using Linux/Unix also preferred
- Capital Planning/Macroeconomic Forecasting experience

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
