ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mechanical Staff scheduling and training:
- Coordination with Production and Mixing Managers regarding daily, weekend and Holiday production schedules and adequate Maintenance coverage.
- Supervision of required PM materials. This includes documented supplies for major projects, periodic PM tasks and daily activities.
- Vacation scheduling, training scheduling and contingency scheduling of Mechanical, Crib, Utility and PM Maintenance personnel.
- Coordination of PM scheduling and completion, and required data entry duties including (but not limited to) daily Tech log sheets, MVP CMMS PM Records and MVP CMMS work order tracking.
- Supervision of various crib locations (includes parts crib and satellite crib locations)
- Reordering of critical and specialty parts and supplies, specification of “functionally equivalent” replacement parts as required.
PM Documentation:
- Coordination with Maintenance Manager regarding PM scheduling and completion, and required data entry duties including (but not limited to) daily Tech log sheets, MVP CMMS PM Records and MVP CMMS work order tracking.
- Management of required PM materials. This includes documented supplies for major projects, periodic PM tasks and daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems in the building.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (continued)
Continual Improvement/Technical support:
- Evaluation of various production cells, processes and ancillary equipment with the goal of improvement of uptime, changeovers, operation and troubleshooting.
- Cross training of Maintenance staff to ensure adequate contingency manpower requirements for daily, holiday, vacation and emergency coverage.
- Work with assigned Project Managers, Maintenance and Management personnel to streamline project tasks.
- Assist with specifications, required permit/approval agencies and contractors to assure specified scope of work is followed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of Mechanical, Crib, Utility and PM Technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and other plant and office personnel.
- Ability to interact professionally with suppliers, contractors and inspectors.
- A minimum of 5 years in Process and/or Supervision in Industrial environment.
- Must be a self-starter, organized and dedicated, with good record keeping skills. Must be able to cope with and work efficiently with restrictive time frames and unpredictable situations.
EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in ME, Process Control or associated field, or 5 years equivalent experience. Supervisory skills recommended.
QUIREMENTS: (continued)
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Engineering level math skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Engineering computer skills. PLC and Vision skills are a plus.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and process several abstract and concrete variables. Understanding of mathematical basics, mechanical components, and systems operation
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Mechanical Engineering, Design or Facilities Certificate preferred.
