Job Summary - General Manager of Special Events

Job Title: Special Events Manager
Location: Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky

Detailed Responsibilities:
As the Special Events Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of Levy's events at Churchill Downs. You will collaborate with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. You will work closely with internal teams and vendors, manage budgets, and maintain the high standards of the venue.

Daily Tasks:

• Meet with clients to discuss event details and requirements
• Develop event timelines and coordinate logistics
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
• Manage staff assignments and schedules
• Handle client communications and resolve any concerns

Overarching Tasks:

• Create detailed event reports and evaluations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of event budgets and expenses
• Train and develop event staff
