Job Summary

Join our exceptional team at Longwood Gardens as the Executive Chef! We're seeking a talented culinary professional who shares our passion for Farm to Table, High Volume, and Fine Dining. As the Senior Executive Chef, you'll lead and oversee culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain elevated culinary standards for our retail, board meals, dining, and catering operations.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the culinary team, fostering their professional growth.
- Drive initiatives focused on Corporate Social Responsibility, food seasonality, health and wellness, and exceptional culinary experiences.
- Analyze performance and trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies.
- Communicate daily menu items to customers accurately and passionately.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Culinary degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field.
- Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
- Experience in planning and managing catering events, ensuring outstanding guest experiences.
- Strong leadership skills and a desire to drive excellence and innovation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, sanitation, and cost controls.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with management, customers, and associates.
- ServSafe® Certification, demonstrating commitment to food safety.
