About the role:

As part of the Advanced Operations team at our site in Osted, you will join a team of Project Managers, Process Engineers, Product Quality Engineers, Validation Engineers, and Technicians.

As Project Manager, you will together with your project team be building the bridge between T&I and Operation, ensuring smooth transition from NPD through to successful launch.

As a part of this you will be responsible for the development of machines on different automation levels for production of new products. Our machine development process goes from the early innovation phase until process validation and handover to our manufacturing sites.

You will also ensure alignment between R&D, suppliers and the ringfenced resources in Operation.

Depending on the size of the project, you will be managing 1-4 projects at a time. You will report directly to Director, Advanced Operations in Infusion Care.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment between R&D, suppliers and Operation including receiving manufacturing site.
  • Create project reliability in terms of clarifying the scope, providing overviews and robust plans, handling risks, and ensuring on-time project deliverables.
  • Drive execution of the machine development process for high-volume production machines.
  • Be responsible for project budget and project documentation.
  • Carry out stakeholder management and provide effective communication of risks and challenges to ensure that project deadline and budget is met via clarity and transparency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager with technical background and solid experience with managing machine projects, so you can participate in technical discussions with suppliers.

As a project manager, you are known for your proactive communication style and visibility among your stakeholders. You are good at reaching out to the right people to collect the information you need and sharing project statuses in due time. Moreover, you communicate effortlessly in English.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical science, or similar technical diploma, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
  • Experience within validation of equipment/methods in the medical device industry, in accordance with EU ISO 13485 and US 21CFR820.
  • Knowledge within Medical Device product development (Class II) will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge within regulatory requirements and standards will be an added value.

Working Conditions:

  • We offer a hybrid workspace with work location in Osted, near Roskilde Denmark and with possibility of working from home when it fits with your tasks.
  • Position may involve travel up to 20% of the time, mostly within Europe but overseas travel is expected. Most trips will include overnight travel).
