Position Location:Remote, North America
Position Summary:The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Sourcing & Procurement and will have responsibility for all aspects of sourcing for IT & SaaS categories at PointClickCare. The Strategic Sourcing Manager is the single point of contact for their respective categories and is responsible for managing all sourcing and procurement needs including selecting, evaluating and managing vendor partnerships. This role will leverage these relationships, along with data analytics, to problem solve and achieve business goals and savings targets.
Partnering with cross-functional teams at PCC to identify needs, understand markets to determine appropriate vendors to participate in RFPs, and baseline the current state is key to this role. Other responsibilities include recommending/developing the sourcing strategy, leading the competitive process (i.e., RFP, RFI, etc.), assisting teams in the supplier selection, negotiating agreements, and continuously optimizing supplier relationships and spend. Close partnership with other departments (i.e., Legal, SaaS & Fin Ops, Security, Finance, etc.) in the onboarding and contracting process is required.
The right candidate will have excellent teamwork skills and partnering ability with multiple departments and stakeholders, as well as being able to present and communicate effectively (both oral and written) with all levels of management. They will be expected to develop strong working relationships with our business partners and other back-office departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for IT & SaaS Sourcing for all needs of the organization; including SaaS, Professional Services, tools, applications, etc.
• Develop close working relationships at all levels of the organization to understand strategic direction, and how third parties fit into that, with the purpose of being able to find solutions that meet their needs.
• Understand and research the assigned category market/industry to remain aware of best practices, leading suppliers, benchmark best practices, etc.
• Lead regular business reviews with key suppliers and business partners.
• Work closely with PointClickCare business partners and their teams to lead all sourcing related activities to bring significant value for the business.
• Partner with the organization to manage onboarding, contracting and negotiations with suppliers as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Negotiates technical and commercial terms with suppliers to ensure stakeholders’ needs are met and the best value for the requirement.
• Responsible for managing software renewals across the business and working with stakeholders to optimize demand.
• Maintain and manage a software renewal tracker for the entire PCC business.
• Proactively engage stakeholders in renewal discussions.
• Review historic software license usage data with business leaders to determine renewal requirements.
• Create approval decks and contract summaries for obtaining internal buy-in.
• Drive savings and Spend Under Management for your areas of responsibility.
• Provide monthly forecast of projected savings.
• Utilize project management skills to drive processes from beginning to end.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
• Manage processes, create efficiencies, and control costs using ERP systems and other software tools.
• Participate in enhancing strategic sourcing capabilities overall.
• Manage highly confidential and critical information.

Competencies:

• Diverse Global Sourcing / Procurement experience within the Software Technology/Healthcare industries which includes an understanding of the economics of the industries supported.
