Responsibilities:

  • As part of an internal consulting team, you will work closely with colleagues from 5 different business units of our corporate group -Freudenberg Chemical Specialities (FCS) - around the world.
  • You will lead projects (project management) for the Europe region (as well as cross-regionally or globally, if assigned) throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to planning and execution to completion. Projects vary in size, timeframe, and workload and focus on process design, organizational development, and internal controls.
  • Throughout your project work, you will keep an eye and ear open to identify best practices that can be shared with FCS BUs worldwide, to improve the usefulness and effectiveness of concepts, policies, and tools. You will identify where organizational structures and processes within the organization should be updated, collaboratively develop solutions with functional departments and guide the respective company through this change process. 
  • You are always aware of internal as well as external innovations and initiatives that can lead to increased effectiveness and efficiency and recognize the potential for the entire FCS organization. You will prepare decision papers on suitability and availability for our group of companies and ideally will be tasked by the BPCO global leadership committee to implement them.
  • You will build, based on your proven track record through completed projects, a strong network with your internal customers and within FCS BUs and FCS parent company.

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics or natural sciences or comparable practical activity.
  • Experience in project management as well as several years of professional experience in internal or external management consulting or in a strategic functi-on within a company.
  • Long-term thinking, understanding of the diversity of issues facing a global enterprise, and the ability to identify the necessary resources and actions to submit specific objectives with the necessary sensitivity and institutional prudence.
  • Strong communication skills in English, complemented by strong analytical skills, professional demeanor and cross-cultural competencies.
