ROLE DESCRIPTION:
CoStar Group is currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner in our Washington, DC office to support Senior leaders and employees across CoStar Group Finance, Facilities, Legal, Marketing & Communications and Human Resources. This role will support all facets of HR and people strategies that enable business goals and objectives. Responsibilities will include advising business stakeholders on people related matters, and leading HR initiatives and programs across the client group.
This role offers a schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote in our Washington, DC office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic advisor and HR partner for local department leaders.
Possess a keen understanding of the overarching strategy of the business with the ability to counsel leaders to enable growth of the business, drive retention and develop career strategies of our people
Lead discussions with Senior Leaders to provide data and insights related to employee survey results, performance management, and attrition/retention to develop enhanced people strategies
Coach managers to aid in their effectiveness, foster highly functioning and engaged teams and drive a thriving corporate culture
Predict, assess and determine business needs in the areas of organizational design, staffing, performance management, succession planning, development and communication plans
Partner with other HR functions to identify, evaluate and drive forward key initiatives.
Contribute to the strategy and development of a best-in-class HR organization
Mitigate and analyze situations to resolve complex HR challenges that arise and advise managers with actionable items to mitigate issues and concerns to always protect the company
Additional projects as needed (process improvement, training facilitation)
Lead discussions with senior leaders to provide data and insights related to employee survey results, performance management, and attrition/retention to develop enhanced people strategies
Develop enhanced people related communication strategies that drive engagement
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
