About the Work:
The Senior Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for the overall learning and development training strategy, from creation and implementation, to execution for the Home Instead franchise network. Understanding the "big picture", translating business goals into learning objectives, and demonstrating the value proposition of L&D initiatives will be key. You'll spend your time creating, building, auditing, and managing training programs, materials, and content for the franchise network while collaborating cross-functionally between subject matter experts, franchise offices, and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement L&D strategies to enhance franchise performance.
- Lead instructional design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Oversee the learning content lifecycle and manage the LMS.
- Provide development opportunities to the operations team.
- Create and update learning courses aligned with organizational goals.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of learning programs, demonstrating ROI.
- Manage change effectively during L&D initiatives.
- Facilitate learning events and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with experts to design and evaluate training programs.
- Promote stakeholder relationships and team collaboration.
Our ideal candidate experience includes:
- Bachelors degree in business, education or related field preferred
- 5+ years of relevant and proven experience in learning and development roles
- 5+ years of experience facilitating learning and training
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and various training and development approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and achieve results.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to take content provided and build instructional design around concepts, expert content and ideas
Our range reflects the hiring range for this position. We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company. Individual pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training.
Base pay is just a part of our total rewards program. Honor offers equity and 401K with up to a 4% match. We provide medical, dental and vision coverage including zero cost plans for employees. Hiring Salary Range$138,600—$160,000 USDWhat’s next?
Honor is remote friendly! We're hiring across the U.S., with an entirely virtual interview and onboarding process. Most of our positions are remote/work from home and do not require permanent relocation. As conditions allow, we have office space for in-person collaboration in our San Francisco Bay Area, CA, Austin, TX, and Omaha, NE hubs.
