SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Prepaid Cards Ops Specialist to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, provides daily operational support to Operations team as preparing daily reconcilements and research as needed. This is a temporary position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leverages technology and resources appropriately to perform various functions efficiently including communications, recordkeeping, reporting, etc.
- Researches and resolves issues independently.
- Provides knowledge sharing with team members to strengthen understanding of processes, controls and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain good relationship with internal and external customers, management team, and other contacts.
- Performs daily operational functions including monitoring the various programs and associated transactions, reconcilement of accounts/programs, preparation of monthly reporting, and compliance with all industry and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with various industry stakeholders including processors, strategic partners and network associations.
- Provides operational and implementation support for prepaid card programs.

COMPETENCIES
- Must be familiar with email systems, Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and basic personal computer skills
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to provide fast, professional and accurate information
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to consistently meet service level standards and goals
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
- Education: Minimum High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: 0-2 years related experience and/or training
- Certifications/Specific Knowledge: N/A
Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
