At Salesloft, our Financial Analyst will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Finance team and will be a critical member of a team that will help scale the company by building and fostering key business partnerships across the organization.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be a true business partner and go-to person for all analytical support, thinking and going beyond budget variances and expense management to help the business achieve operational goals and strategy. Specifically, you will:

• Contribute to the creation of a detailed operating plan and long-term corporate financial model and will track ongoing changes to the business in the rolling forecast, specifically for recurring and non-recurring Services revenue
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, understanding key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating/presenting key messages to senior management
• Perform ad-hoc business case and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives 
• Collaborate across various teams to assess key business KPIs for go-to-market teams and the entire company, such as margin analysis
• Support the accounting team in the month end close process, assisting with commissions analysis, navigating through large data sets and communicating findings to management
• Manage our non-GAAP KPI dashboard, using Salesforce to stamp monthly revenue data and effectively communicate data discrepancies to our Operations team

THE SKILL SET:

• 1+ years experience in FP&A, accounting, sales operations or relevant field
• Ability to work in large datasets without losing sight of the “big picture”
• Positive attitude with high level of eagerness and aptitude to learn new technology and practices
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with various levels of executive management
• Working knowledge of financial theory, economics, and GAAP (Rev-rec ASC 606 is a plus)
• Skilled at working with and analyzing financial statements and relevant financial metrics
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at working with and analyzing financial statements and relevant financial metrics
• Experience in working EPM tools (specifically Adaptive Planning) a plus
• Experience in software and recurring revenue models is a plus
