The Opportunity:  

As an energy project engineer, you know the complexities of supporting a technical project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need an experienced project engineer like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of a Department of Defense energy resilience program. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review deliverables and milestones and engage in technical discussions with electrical and reliability engineers to determine requirements. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources and regular interactions with our Defense clients.

You Have: 

• 7+ years of experience in a technical role
• Experience with installation or operational energy with the Department of Defense
• Experience with system analysis design tools, including flowcharts and value stream mapping
• Knowledge of functional requirements analysis development
• Knowledge of modeling techniques or reliability engineering
• Ability to interpret one-line electrical diagrams
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with project management and planning, including risk analysis, cost, scope, and time
• Experience with electrical transmission and distribution systems
• Experience with on-site visits and mission owner interviews
• Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Engineering or an Energy-related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification
