We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Plant Launch team. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
You Will:
- Propose production capacity scenarios to meet yearly product demands. Ability to incorporate multiple factors affecting production capacity such as shift model, line rates, buffer capacity.
- Tracks key dates/timing issues, in support of the Master Program Schedule.
- Documents meeting minutes and action plans.
- Performs semi-complex to complex organizational tasks within project management.
- Keeper of internal and external departmental issues in launch phase.
- Provides regular updates through Status Reports.
- Leads regularly scheduled Team meetings to review Timing, Open Issues, project budget and Status Reports.
- Completes and performs other duties/tasks as may be assigned.
- Participates in launch readiness review meetings to understand the major departmental issues and lead discussions to determine priority, owners and timing for resolution.
- Work with affected teams to understand the critical actions necessary for successful introduction of new features, capabilities, and products, and ensure those needs will be met ahead of deployment.
- Ability to effectively create and present high level project status reports to upper management
- Maintain and communicate project timelines.
- Coordinate and effectively run meetings to resolve issues related to launch readiness.
You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- 3-5 years Project Management.
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments.
- Possess strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company.
- Possess knowledge and experience across multiple functions within product design and manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
