Job Description

Eurofins PSS is seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join a dynamic early discovery research team on-site with our client in Cambridge, MA. This role focuses on developing and applying human iPSC-derived immune cell models and organoid systems to support target validation and drug discovery efforts in Immunology and Neuroscience.

The successful candidate will lead experimental work involving stem cell differentiation, CRISPR-based genetic manipulation, and functional assay development. This is a hands-on, lab-based role requiring strong technical expertise, scientific curiosity, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute protocols to differentiate iPSC lines into immune cell types (e.g., mast cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, T-cells).
  • Develop QC and functional validation methods for differentiated cell types.
  • Integrate immune cells into intestine and skin organoid models in collaboration with client scientists.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement assay readouts for target validation.
  • Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to diverse scientific audiences.

Qualifications

Required:

  • PhD in Stem Cell Biology, Immunology, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in human iPSC culture and differentiation.
  • Strong communication and data presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Experience with CRISPR-based gene editing and functional assays.
  • Background in Immunology or drug discovery.
  • Familiarity with organoid model systems.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cambridge, MA, are encouraged to apply.
