We are seeking our next motivated and engaged IT Systems Engineer located at our Tempe, AZ offices. This onsite position responsible for the administration and continuous improvement of the US Corporate IT environment. The role covers all aspects of IT Support, encompassing user support, on and off-boarding, networking, AWS, communications and associated systems and hardware.

Working as part of a global team the successful candidate will resolve support tickets and act as technical SME for internal projects/processes. The candidate will make active efforts to propose business improvements to align our operations to best practices, and consider cost-reduction and improved service delivery in these changes. In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will undertake any additional duty or activity of the IT department that the management of the IT department deems as necessary to service the VIX IT environment and provide a consistent level of high quality support and security to the business.

Requirements

• Must have an enthusiastic, customer service minded personality with excellent communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, or related discipline
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a globally decentralised team
• Any industry certifications (eg CCNA, AWS CCP, ITIL Foundation etc) would be beneficial
• Experience with many or all of the following technical solutions: Cisco Meraki routing & switching, multi-tenant AWS environments, enterprise security and antivirus platforms, infrastructure monitoring suites, MS Active Directory administration inc. group policy
• Experience with concepts, practices and architecture related to cloud technologies
• Advanced problem solving and diagnostic capabilities
