The Customer Advocacy Manager role at Bluebeam is responsible for developing programs to recruit and engage customer advocates. A core responsibility for this role is developing and building evergreen customer advocacy programs. With that, this role leads the charge for creating programs to bring reciprocal value to top customer advocates and to Bluebeam, while building a roster of customers we can rely on to share their stories and positive experiences. Through these programs the Advocacy Manager is responsible for maintaining the health of our existing customer reference database in addition to ensuring its growth. This role is also responsible for coordinating advocate speaking and/or press, media opportunities and promoting advocacy via impactful industry opportunities.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, manage, and execute Bluebeam’s customer advocacy programs by maturing and scaling an internal, end-to-end program and process to identify and deliver customer advocacy activities including customer storytelling, customer references, maintenance of customer website content and internal customer win stories.
- Work in partnership with internal teams to set customer marketing campaigns that leverage the powerful voice of the customer and drive new business.
- Manage and grow a consistent pipeline of customer advocates with powerful success stories to be featured in assets (case studies, content, slide decks, blogs, social media posts, videos, newsletters) and testimonials each quarter.
- Collaborate with our internal production team to harness the influence of happy customers in customer testimonial videos, identify new and more effective sources/formats for customer success stories, references and iterated content assets.
- Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm in cultivating effective relationships and regular outreach with key customer group leaders, including members of our global go-to-market success teams and product management, to nurture and drive participation.
- Partner closely with marketing counterparts, customer success, sales, and the executive team to identify potential customer advocates, work with sales to encourage their support of advocacy activities and connect with customers to match them to opportunities that allow them to be experts and influencers.
- Manage the customer reference repository, a database of customer references, available customer speakers and other potential activities to make outreach and interactions more efficient.
- Maintain tracking for transparency into progress of program initiatives and reporting to measure the impact and success of customer advocacy programs.
Here’s what we’d like to see in you:
- 5+ years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in customer advocacy.
- 1+ year(s) experience executing marketing programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to effectively take a project from idea through execution, including managing timeline, resources, expectations, deliverables, etc.
- Ability to align the execution of tasks with overarching business goals.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Experience building lasting relationships with internal teams and customers.
- Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
- Interest in and curiosity for technology and the AEC industry.
- Team player attitude with strong attention to detail.
