Peraton is seeking an Asset Project Manager to work on-site at Camp Smith, HI

 

The Asset Project Manager (PM), provides asset project management support to MARFORPAC technology and logistics management requirements.

  • Manages the maintenance, reconciliation, and databases containing information regarding assets, licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.
  • Provides acquisition logistic project management support including sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of system and components.
  • Manages, submits, tracks, and completes and reports on maintenance service requests and work orders using proprietary USMC software and systems.
  • Asset PM applies specialized knowledge in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, and industry expertise.
  • Interacts with the customers to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
  • Creates and executes project plans for assigned projects.
  • Determines maintenance and standards required for exercise deployments.
  • Collects, identifies, defines, and organizes detailed user and information technology requirements.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Confirms and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the customer.
  • Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement, and conversions.
  • Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems.
  • Analyzes, organizes, plans, and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.
  • Prepares system documentation.
  • Develops requisitions for and manages the records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component; and identifies logistic support documentation to support lifecycle of products.
  • Establishes and maintains security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents.
  • Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
  • Assist information engineers on application of specialized knowledge to codling, testing, implementation, and documentation projects.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education: 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, or a HS degree with 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Clearance:  Must have active Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance 
  • Knowledge of specific USMC asset management tools and systems.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. military structure, culture, and language, specifically USMC

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
