Warehouse Attendant

SHERIDAN

This position is located in ORISKANY NY.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform warehouse tasks as instructed, including picking and movement of stock, and completing paperwork.        

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pull back issue stock as needed to complete orders from designated inventory locations
• Receive new back issues into inventory for existing and new customers
• Complete back issues reduction as requested by the customer
• Assist in the receiving dock as needed
• Complete paperwork as it pertains to back issues
• Demonstrate a willingness to assist in other areas of the department when workload is light
• Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc.
• Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
• Assist with housekeeping in the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Computer literacy
• Mechanical inclination
• Good reading comprehension
• Forklift, clamp truck, and pallet jack certifications required or ability to be obtained
• Valid driver’s license

 

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Warehouse experience

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand in place for long periods of time.
