We are currently seeking a Operations Senior Director / Chief of Staff to join our team in Chicago, Illinois (US-IL), United States (US).

 

The Operations Senior Director / Chief of Staff plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence and accountability across the organization. Acting as a strategic partner to senior executives, this individual ensures smooth internal operations and enables leadership to focus on high-impact priorities. With a deep understanding of project execution and organizational dynamics, the role is instrumental in achieving financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning
  Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives.  Utilizing familiarity with IT trends, technologies, and applications to steer innovation
• Leadership Support
  Partner with the executive team - particularly the business leader—to facilitate decision-making processes and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Project Management
  Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, guaranteeing timely delivery and outcome achievement.
• Executive Support
  Prepare presentations, operational insights, and strategic materials that assist leadership in organizational effectiveness and go-to-market execution.
• Meeting Coordination
  Schedule, organize, and document leadership meetings. Manage agenda planning, material preparation, and follow-up actions to ensure accountability and progress.
• Accountability & Execution
  Promote accountability across teams by tackling challenges head-on, driving results, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Coordinate and align efforts across departments to ensure strategic initiatives are implemented effectively and consistently.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting
  Monitor progress on key initiatives, provide insights, and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
• Market Analysis
  Conduct competitive and industry research to inform business strategy and identify new opportunities.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable successful execution of corporate initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

• 15 years in strategic planning, project management, and/or senior leadership in the IT Services industry
• 7+ years in an operational lead or Chief of Staff capacity to include managing priorities in a fast-paced environment and utilizing communication skills to influence diverse audiences
• Experience operating in diverse environments utilizing business acumen project management experience to be able to translate strategy to delivering business outcomes/results
• Bachelor’s in business administration, IT, or related field.  MBA or advanced degree preferred
