About the role

Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.

But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!

The Role

If your grandma asked what you did at work each day, and you’d have to give her a combination of an answer about SEO, organic website traffic, content writing, keyword clusters, brand storytelling, and authority building that she wouldn’t understand at all—then this job is for YOU.

You know how to nerd. You don’t see SEO as a thing of the past, but a valuable data tool to be leveraged in understanding real people with real problems. What terms are they searching for on the way to solving those problems? You can define topic clusters, stand up new pages, edit current pages, and identify how all those pieces work together inside a content hub with all the backend boxes checked. Organic traffic and website conversions make you excited.

But you are also fluent in brand and everything attached to it. You’re going to make sure the content hub is populated with pieces that engage and entertain our readers, with a UX/UI that will make our product designers drool. You can give feedback to designers and copywriters that keep pages and entries on point. Essentially, you can happily exist in the middle space where the distinct voices involved in website content converge.

Sitting on the Content Team within Brand and Marketing, this role’s time will be divided equally between website content strategy, content writing, content production, and content management. Sound like a lot of content? It’s because it is—we’re a big-thinking team at a fast-growing SaaS company aiming to continue scaling past our competitors. We need a person who wants to hustle—but we highly value collaboration and co-ownership, so you won’t be left alone to solve world hunger. ;)

If you have the ability to live across the creative to technical spectrum as it relates to website content—and you think you could maybe explain it to your grandma—make sure you check the boxes on the list and hit us up today.

In this job you will...
