Summary

Reporting to the Nursing Department Director, the Registered Nurse Shift Manager utilizes the nursing process and organizational/ leadership skills to coordinate services of staffto patients during the designated shift. Assures patient care is appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served. Assesses staffneed for the unit, collaborates with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to ensure patients needs are met. Supports Nursing Department Director on various administrative duties. 

Qualifications

• Two to five years acute experience or equivalent
• RN skills as described for designated unit 
• Two years of labor and delivery experience 
• Managerial experience preferred 
• Current California RN license 
• BLS Certification 
• ACLS Certification 
• Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring AWHONN Certification 
• NRP Certification

Pay Range: $53.73 - $85.94 hourly

**Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience

Education:

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Experience:

Required: 1 year of RN experience.

Certifications:

Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS.
