Job Description

Performs the single function of supervising the production activities in a business unit. Participates in scheduling production and ensures adherence to production schedule. Ensures the production process flows without problems. Responsible for assigning and coordinating the work in a manufacturing department. Supervises hourly employees, maintains log of shift operations. Trains employees and has responsibility for the performance appraisal process. Maintains a high level of focus and involvement in regard to safety, quality, 6S, cross-training, continuous improvement, etc.. Prepares daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and/or 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
