Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Supervises the daily operations of the pool areas per established policies and procedures.
- Conducts pre-shift meetings, makes daily schedule adjustments and controls shift staffing levels to meet volume demand.
Ensures proper training, supervision, and development of pool team members. - Responsible for cleanliness, organization and safe condition of all pool areas, including and not limited to the bar, cabana, attendance desk, pool deck, etc.
- Develops and maintains inter-department relations with key supervisors to ensure the pool is clean and well maintained.
- Ensures Team Members are adhering to company policy(s).
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Handles guest and team member concerns and escalations.
- Supervises and monitors work of pool team members.
- Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws.
· Prepares and stocks supplies and items necessary for guest consumption.
· Complete daily, weekly, monthly check list.
· Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request.
· Provides to customers property information on current events, promotions and attractions.
· Processes all POS transactions by accepting acceptable forms of payment and presents customer with bar receipt.
· Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
· Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators and other bar appliances.
· Other duties pertaining to the Pool assigned by managers/supervisor.
Requirements:
- Two years previous experience as a bartender is required.
· High school degree or equivalent is preferred.
· Must have dexterity and capability to learn entertainment pouring.
· Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
· Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Must be 21 years of age.
· Must be able to work required schedules which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
· Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
· Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the beverage field.
· Must have knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
Physical, Mental and Environmental demands:
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled and noisy environment and maneuver through assigned area during entire shift.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and manually push up to 650 pounds.
- Must be able to stoop, bend and reach.
- Must be able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers.
- Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping bar counter.
- Must be able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to refrigerators and cabinets.
- Must be able to complete required paperwork for cash transactions.
- Must be able to operate a variety of equipment.
- Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels. Bright lights and dust
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
