<p><strong>The Job</strong></p> <p>Onera is looking for a Biomedical Engineer with a passion for real-life medical challenges and data analysis to join our team. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of hardware engineers, software developers, subject matter experts and clinical specialists. You will make a difference by bringing your expertise in study setups and data analysis, which will be key to Onera’s next generation sleep devices.</p> <p><strong>The Company</strong></p> <p>Onera Health is a leader in transforming sleep medicine and remote monitoring. The company’s innovative solutions provide comprehensive sleep test data to physicians in a variety of clinical and non-clinical environments to optimize patient care and reduce healthcare costs.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>End-to-end ownership of (non-clinical) data-collection user studies, including design of protocols, execution, analysis, reporting, monitor follow-up</li> <li>Develop methods to evaluate and improve the performance of biomedical sensors and algorithms</li> <li>Provide second-line support on technical questions coming from ongoing commercial and clinical activities</li> <li>Contributing to R&D product development</li> <li>Post-market surveillance follow-up and research on field feedback (e.g. materials feedback)</li> <li>Analyze big data sets to understand patterns and extract meaningful insights</li> <li>Closely interact with various team members in a multidisciplinary, matrix and multi-regional setting</li> <li>Working primarily onsite, from our office in Eindhoven.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements - What You Will Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have a PhD in the biomedical (or related) field + 3 years’ experience in relevant projects or an MSc degree + 5 years’ experience in relevant projects</li> <li>You have experience in the field of biomedical signal algorithm development</li> <li>You have theoretical and applied knowledge of human physiology</li> <li>You are an enthusiastic researcher/engineer with a passion for medical challenges and data analysis </li> <li>You have knowledge and interest in sleep medicine, neurology, and/or respiratory care (a plus)</li> <li>You exhibit excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)</li> <li>You are hands-on, creative, and have a flexible attitude with a result driven, can-do mentality</li> <li>You are available from the beginning of August</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits – What We Offer<br/></strong></p><ul> <li>Flexibility in work hours and hybrid location </li> <li>Technical equipment to set up a home office</li> <li>An open and positive company culture, with a lot of team activities</li> <li>A competitive salary including a 13th month, participation in pension scheme, and Onera stock options</li> <li>A holiday package with 25 days and the option to buy additional days</li> </ul> <p><strong>Where We Are</strong></p> <p>Torenallee 42-54, 5617 BD (Strijp-S), Eindhoven, Netherlands</p>
