RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inventory Management – Physical counts, system balancing, raw material balancing and raw material ordering, month end duties
• Forklift operations – Line pull.  Recording and putting product away in the warehouse
• Forklift operations – Load and unload package products
  25kg line operations – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions of the line and how to operate it.
• BB line operations – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions of the line and how to operate it.
• Biolys Dry Bulk Truck/Rail loading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the truck/Rail.
• Biolys Liquid Truck/Rail loading and unloading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the truck/rail.
• Veramaris Oil – ISO / Truck loading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the truck.
• Veramaris Veraferm – Rail loading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the rail.
• Damage and Non-Conforming product handling – Understanding how to label and reprocess damage product
• Sanitation – Understanding Evonik Feed Safety program. Responsible for the daily safety, cleaning, and hygiene conditions of the area. 
• ESHQ – Following Evonik Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
• Understanding how and when to report incident. 
• Be complainant with the ISO 9001, RC 14001, FAMI-Qs, HACCP and FSMA
• General Shutdown duties – support Granulation during shutdown.

REQUIREMENTS

• PACK OPERATOR A
  - New Operator (Limited to 1 or 2 areas) minimal experience level
  - OSHA 10 certified
  - Forklift / Rail King Certified
  - Has a basic understanding of how to load and unload finished product / raw materials
  - Can document and complete the proper documentation required for the task
  - Has a general understanding of Evonik’s procedures and can execute
  - Displays good attention to detail when completing work
  - A self-starter, able to perform with minimal supervision once trained in area
  - Able to prioritize assigned workload effectively.
  - Understands ESHQ (Safety & Quality) practices and policies as they pertain to the area
  - Understanding of scheduling and how operations impact it

• PACK OPERATOR B
  - Understands and performs basic mechanical skills 
  - Understanding of the process equipment and functionality – able to help identify changes and offer process improvements.
  - Understand D3 operations – able to put silos on and offline
  - Experience level: min 1 year and understands all areas for Biolys and Veramaris  
  - Holds self and team accountable for all Evonik Safety, Quality and Operational policies.

• PACK OPERATOR C
  - Acts as daily team lead – can start and end the day without supervision
  - Can provide coaching and experience to level A & B
  - Can operate proficiently in all areas for Biolys and Veramaris
  - Has a good understanding of the equipment mechanics and can trouble shoot equipment failures.
  - Learn and Understand how to order parts and items necessary to complete day to day transactions – intro to SAP
  - Has been trained and signed off on all skill levels in all areas
  - Performs Safety Observations and can provide feedback
  - Supports area Supervisor and team in Inventory management tasks

• PACK OPERATOR D
  - Monday – Friday position with occasional shift work as needed
  - Thought partner and back up to the Warehouse Supervisor 
  - Understands and can write permits and maintenance scheduling
  - Mechanical skills – able to diagnosis and repair equipment
  - Full D3 access for operations
  - Proficient at SAP – part ordering; inventory management
