About the role

<p>The Brattle Group: Associate (Multiple Positions) - Boston, MA</p> <p>DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Direct and manage projects in team environment to produce written analyses used in litigation, regulatory proceedings, international arbitration, and consulting engagements.</li> <li>Develop statistical, econometric, and other quantitative data analysis and oversee analysis performed by Research Analysts.</li> <li>Draft reports that summarize and explain the results of analytical work performed, using clear and concise writing that presents technical concepts in a manner accessible to noneconomists.</li> <li>Responsible for project management, including keeping the client informed of new developments and responding to client requests.</li> <li>Responsible for overseeing the final work product for the following: reports, client memos, proposals, presentations, data requests, interrogatories, and expert witness testimony in a litigation and non-litigation environment.</li> <li>Assist counsel with preparing expert witness for deposition and trial testimony, cross-examination and deposition of opposing expert witnesses, and drafting of post-trial briefs.</li> <li>Responsible for participating in business development activities including drafting business development materials, drafting proposals and budgets, speaking at conferences, and publishing in professional and trade journals.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance or related quantitative field</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance or related quantitative field + 3 years of experience consulting on financial and/or economic concepts.</p> <p>Qualified candidate must possess any amount of experience with or demonstrated knowledge* of:</p> <ul> <li>Quantitative analytics.</li> <li>Analytical/statistical software include STATA, R, SQL and Excel.</li> <li>Complex financial and economic related concepts.</li> </ul> <p>*Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and / or experience</p> <p>TELEWORK: Position may be authorized to work at any Brattle Group office within the US or for full or part time telework</p> <p>TRAVEL: Up to 10% domestic travel required</p> <p>SALARY: $193,900 to $220,448 per year</p> <p>LOCATION: One Beacon Street, Suite 2600, Boston, MA, 02108</p> <p>TO APPLY: Fill out fields below</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY</strong></p> <p>The Brattle Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.&nbsp; All qualified applicants will receive consideration for empl
