SupplyOne is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Team. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for growing gross profit by providing crucial support to field sales teams. This role involves managing margins, handling account management tasks, driving new business development, and measuring sales metrics to ensure effective performance and strategic alignment. This is a full-time role and will sit on-site at our Westwood, MA location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Margin Management
- Ensure practices and procedures improve margins.
- Conduct daily reviews of PIER (preliminary invoice edit report).
- Maintain price list integrity, approve deviations, and review weekly OOPS (margin leakage).
- Adjust prices (increase GP% or decrease GP$/uom).
- Resolve price issues and transaction quality control, identifying root causes and designing solutions.
- Provide price recommendations for MS Dynamics price optimization tasks.
- Account Management
- Prepare Tier 1 Customer Equity Statements and schedule quarterly business reviews.
- Assign Wallet-Share ranks to the top 10 customers in each territory quarterly.
- Coordinate Tier 4 customer reassignments and monitor activity changes.
- Manage the lifecycle of sales programs (e.g., MSA, PMP, Food, Conditional Pricing) including assessments, sourcing, compliance, and renewal.
- Act as an expediter/referee between customer service, purchasing, production, and sales.
- Monitor invoice velocity and communicate potential churn.
- New Business Development
- Monitor and report pipeline value, volume, velocity, and win rates.
- Manage all aspects of the CPQ function.
- Identify and promote strategic account services participation.
- Sales Metric Measurement
- Track and analyze sales data, addressing negative trends.
- Manage sales report distribution by various segments (territory, customer, item, category, market segment, etc.).
- Prepare and track the commercial portion of the annual budget process.
- Prepare scorecards and sales rankings, and schedule monthly sales territory debriefs with standardized data.
- Detail categories of the sales projection bridge (e.g., beginning GP, attrition, inflation, pipeline program).
- Champion the internalization of MS Dynamics as a CRM superuser.
Qualifications
Educational/Training Requirements/Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven success in managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
- Proficient in utilizing CRM systems.
- Experienced with data reporting tools such as SQL and Tableau.
- Skilled in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
