About this role

BlackRock is one of the world’s preeminent asset management firms and a premier provider of global investment management, risk management and advisory services to institutional, intermediary, and individual investors around the world.  BlackRock offers a range of solutions - from rigorous fundamental and quantitative active management approaches aimed at maximizing outperformance to highly efficient indexing strategies designed to gain broad exposure to the world’s capital markets.  Our clients can access our investment solutions through a variety of product structures, including individual and institutional separate accounts, mutual funds and other pooled investment vehicles, and the industry-leading iShares® ETFs.

Business Unit Overview:

The Cash Management Group (CMG) at BlackRock offers a wide range of products and custom solutions to fit clients’ needs that principally include US and offshore money market funds and separately managed liquidity and short duration accounts.  BlackRock’s cash management style is designed to meet each client’s objectives of capital preservation, liquidity, and yield – in that order.

BlackRock and its predecessor companies have been involved in the management of Money Market Funds (MMFs) since 1973, and today, BlackRock’s Cash Management Group (CMG) a business division within the BlackRock Global Markets group, is one of the world’s largest providers of cash management solutions to institutional and retail investors and manages approximately $724 billion (as of 9/30/2023) in cash assets globally. The firm’s success within Cash Management has come as a result of earning the trust of our clients through multiple interest rate cycles and a wide variety of market events as opposed to solely generating the highest yields.

Today the Cash Management Group provides solutions either directly or through intermediary partners for institutional and retail clients in more than 60 countries, including corporations, pension funds, foundations, endowments, official institutions, insurance companies, sub-advisory relationships, high net worth individuals, family offices, private banks, traditional and alternative investment managers.
