Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Manager-Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: General Manager and VP of Maintenance

Effective Date: January 1st, 2025

     General Summary:

The Maintenance Manager will inspect, diagnose, and repair all maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building systems. Perform general commercial maintenance with a focus on quality and preventative measures. Uphold company standards for quality, cleanliness, customer satisfaction, safety, and security for the Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center. Collaborate with the General Manager and VP of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance technician team.

Essential Functions:

• Hires and trains maintenance department staff.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Adhere to company’s preventative maintenance program
• Install, maintain and repair areas, such as but not limited to, machinery, equipment, physical structures, carpentry, drywall, plumbing and electrical systems in commercial property buildings
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC and other facility equipment, ensuring that all company procedures have been adhered to
• Plan for assigned work orders including materials, parts, training and other requirements to ensure that facility related projects and installations are executed in an efficient manner
• Perform general facilities work related to construction, repair, finishing and installation of facility related equipment using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment
• Visit properties to check on apartment technicians

       Supporting Functions:

        In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the
