Howe & Howe, Inc. is looking for a mechanical engineering intern. Our interns are integral members of the design team, and work under the supervision of lead mechanical engineers. Daily responsibilities include developing mechanical design concepts, performance calculations, creation of engineering drawings, and hands-on support of fabrication, assembly, testing and troubleshooting tasks.
About This Role
In this role, a successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the following:
· Solid modeling
· Mechanical drawings
· Common fabrication and assembly processes
· Structural design fundamentals
· Fastening and joining
· Engineering lab safety
Qualifications
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field of study.
· You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S.
