Pay Range:  856

Hourly Rate:  $14.75 - $19.75

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

The normal starting pay for this position is the minimum of the pay range listed above. A higher rate of pay may be considered, dependent on the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.

ATTENTION APPLICANTS

On-site interviews will be offered to qualified applicants (valid photo ID required) during the City of Oklahoma City From Classroom to City Career: Hiring & Career Expo Event, to be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Metro Tech, 1900 Springlake Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73111. Interview questions are included in the supplemental questions.  Upon receiving and accepting a job offer, applicants will be referred for drug testing (as applicable based on position) that will be conducted on-site as part of the City’s background process for employment. Criminal history checks will also be obtained following the event as part of the background process.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is located in the Recreation, Health, and Wellness Division of the Parks and Recreation Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is responsible for providing advanced administrative support, including higher level clerical and research duties. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of statistical records; verifying elementary statistical data and reports for accuracy and completeness; and providing technical assistance or support to professional staff. Other duties may include: assisting in conducting surveys and/or research relating to department/agency operations; inputting and maintaining data in computerized system and generating computerized reports; and performing related duties as assigned.

Pay Method:  City employees are required to receive pay electronically, either via direct deposit or pay card.
