Senior/Lead Relay Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Senior/Lead Relay Technicians for a project located in Kissimmee, FL. Job Scope:   

  

• Perform relay testing
• Interpret test records
• maintain electromechanical & numerical relays
• Oversee/support all facets of high-voltage generation, transmission, and distribution apparatus operation, protection, control, testing, and commissioning

 

Requirements

• (Senior) Minimum 7 years of verifiable relay experience

(Lead) 10+ years verifiable relay technician experience (lead-level)• Working knowledge of NERC CIP rules, compliance, and document control• In-depth experience with HV generation, transmission, and distribution apparatus operation, protection, and control• Proficient in relay protection testing and interpretation of test records• Experience with electromechanical and numerical relays (operation and testing)• Skilled in substation construction, testing, and commissioning

Skilled in relay protection testing, record interpretation, and schematic reading• Strong ability to read electrical prints and schematics• Must be willing to travel across Florida• Team player with strong communication skills• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus
