POSITION SUMMARY

The Retail Accounting Clerk will post bank payments and receipts and work closely with retail management to make sure all retail sales are posted correctly and that payments are received through credit card processors and cash service. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare and compile various bank reports for management on a daily basis.
2. Review the daily reports from the retail stores, reconcile appropriately, and record appropriate adjustments. 
3. Research retail issues and troubleshoot or escalate to supervisor or IT if needed.
4. Review Point-Of-Sales (POS) over/short report, notify managers and risk management of significant differences; help managers investigate as needed, and import POS data on a daily basis. 
5. Collaborate with other accounting areas and other departments, and communicate daily bank transactions when appropriate.
